The other thing listed was that any one who is in MMIS classes must submit a Gantt or PERT chart, I am in MCTE are any of you in MMIS?
We also need to work on our vision, mission, and goal statement.

I did not answer the Text-based Case but did attempt to answer the Web-based Case by mistake. I think that we should disregard my message posted for Web-based and who ever selects to complete case 3 to simply add to what I already completed. What do you all think?
Regarding the Internet Task, do we want to assign this task to one person and after the paragraph is complete, we all review and add something. I did not see where it stated that the professor wants a paragraph from each person on the team but done as a team.
Also, where did you read that someone from the MMIS program is to submit a Gantt or PERT chart because according to the information provided, I only noticed one question “What affect do you think agile modeling will have on software development over the short term? The long term?”?
Lastly, will we be utilizing this blog to organize work for the discussion board? I see that Julie has volunteered or the Case portion. I would like to volunteer for the Internet portion of this assignment if we all are not required to complete it. Otherwise, I can do any part of the assignment.
Rich, please let us know if we all are required to complete the Internet part of the assignment and if a Gantt/PERT chart is required?

Yes, I was going to ask the same thing. That would be great if we could get clarification on that from the professor. I was also wondering how we should be submitting our tasks, email or wiki? I will aim to have it turned in to Rich by next week but I think it would be a good practice to have a deadline posted somewhere here or on the wiki.
I found the part about the Gantt or PERT chart on the Questions page of the map of tasks. There was a link to Team Instructions.
I will ask about the Internet task, sounds like a good idea to me, one person picks and reviews the material the rest of us review and add if necessary. That's seems to be the idea of doing this asa team I think.

Gantt Chart – Daniel (Pending confirmation of who is doing what and due dates for each person). If this is agreed upon, this task assignment above will need to be approved soon so that I will have time to put everything together.
Mission, and goal statement – ALL ??? I think that we all should submit ideas on Wiki by a certain date and the PM put this together but we all need a due date. Rich, please advise.
I think that we all should send our part of the assignment to Rich for final review and to put everything together and have Rich to either post it on Wiki or email a copy back to everyone for comments before the assignment is posted.

I'm getting confused, we have a blog (which is this) and we have a Wiki. We can post files on the Wiki. I have a file there with the assignments laid out. So we don't have to duplicate work, we can use this blog to chat about what we are doing and post files on the Wiki. I haven't worked with Wikis before but it looks like you can create pages for each item, would that work best??? I'm trying to get clarification on the whole vision missison question to see if it is assignment related or team related. We also have Myrielle and one other team member to get involved. I will do Review Question 7 and Abdulhayy agreed on the reading Review, Julie has started on the Case study and if you want to work on the Internet task. Thanks for working on the chart for us. Let me know what you think will work best. If everyone could try to post a file to the Wiki then we can see if tha tis a good place to post everyhtig, I will compile and post for all to review before we turn it in.
We're coming together, this will just take some time to iron out the bugs!! Keep the faith!
Thank you for the clarification Rich. I have never used a Wiki before and I was apparently confused with the whole thing. I went to the Wiki and was able to view the file that you added. Can we get this file updated with who is doing what? My goal is to get everyone organized so that we know who is doing what. I have volunteered to do the Internet task and Gantt Chart but as your last post stated, we have two other team members, which I have not seen any posts from them as of yet.
How do you plan to get everyone organized?

I am still on board for the Case Studies. I will try to get them done this weekend and posted to the wiki for review.
If we could get a little clarification on what the mission and goal statements should be I will be happy to throw out some suggestions.
